Barcode Slot Readers
Barcode slot readers are used for badges and ID cards printed with a barcode. The card is swiped through the slot in the reader just like a credit card reader. Barcode slot readers are typically used for access control and time & attendance applications. Some barcode slot readers also have a magstripe reader built-in so they can also read cards with magnetic stripes, like credit cards.
